Course overview
This course is specifically designed for those wishing to gain employment as biomedical scientists and clinical scientists in the NHS, or those wishing to persue scientific research within academia, industry or the healthcare sector.
As such, it leads to a professionally recognised qualification, being externally accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS). This means that when you have successfully completed the degree, and then gained a position to complete your registration portfolio, you can become a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Biomedical Scientist.
Why study this course with us?
Biomedical Science is taught by enthusiastic academic and professional staff who will provide continuous support throughout your studies at Chester Medical School.
The academic staff are research active and continually strive to promote research within areas of biomedical science, in which they have published research findings and discussed their work at national and international conferences.
